We are delighted to present Jason Mayr as our Guest Artist this month!
Have you ever seen Jason’s work? You owe it to yourself to see this exhibit – From June 1st through June 28th, his extraordinary luminous oils will grace the guest wall of Art Central’s gallery. Artist reception is June 3rd, from 6-9pm!
My aim is to create images that are full …
sometimes full of light, sometimes mood,
sometimes dancing paint. I strive to produce
paintings that will enrich the spaces they
occupy, not conquer them.
– Jason Mayr

Talk about some AMAZING ART! These are the talented artists exhibiting at Art Central – Come and visit the gallery at 1329 Monterey Street in San Luis Obispo. It is open 6 days a week, 11am – 5pm, Monday thru Saturday. The Gallery is approximately 1000 square feet, and the following artists are part of our “permanent” gallery. This month was the first time we all showed our work together, and it looks terrific. We will have guests artists in the months to come, but this was OUR show. Fun!

Our guest artist is Tricia Reichert – a fabulously
multi-talented artist who will be showing her etchings,
linocuts, and other traditional forms of printmaking
in her exhibit titled “Serendipitous Journey”.
This exhibit will will hang thru May 31st. It looks TERRIFIC!
Tricia says about her work:
“In printmaking, my concern lies more with the transference of ideas, concepts and momentary glimpses of time. I am, and probably always will be, exploring the myriad of processes that printmaking has to offer.”
