Creative Wine Glass Painting

20180907_162750.jpg

We had a blast recently at The Villages, painting wine glasses! This painting class was organized through Art Central’s Outreach program for these art and wine lovers.

Using Marabu Porcelain Paint and Paint Markers.  What FUN!

20180907_155727

These lovely ladies had a great time learning to paint on glass.  The wine glasses were their canvases, and the party was enhanced by a nice white wine (using other wine glasses!)  They practiced first on little ceramic tiles to get used to the paint and paint pens – then they dove into painting the glasses with much laughter and more confidence.  All had a great time, enjoying each other’s company and experimenting with this great medium.

Does your organization or business want to enjoy our Outreach program?  Send us an e-mail, at artcentralslo@yahoo.com.  You’ll be glad you did!

We are FINALLY fixing our plumbing… yippee!

Those of you who have been coming to our workshops and classes have heard me repeat (ad nauseum) about our plumbing issues here at the store.  We are getting the problem fixed next week!  (SNOOPY DANCE!)

What that means is that while our store will be open, our gallery  and parking lot will be closed most of next week.   (Please park on the street, not in the 7-11 lot, next door.)

We expect the work to begin early Monday morning, and to be completed sometime on Thursday.

So sorry for the inconvenience!

Thanks, etty
